CPAP Treatment Normalizes Elevated Carbon Monoxide in Sleep Apnea Patients

Significantly elevated venous carbon monoxide (CO) levels have been found in the morning in patients with untreated obstructive sleep apnea.(1) Treatment with CPAP normalizes CO levels.
